happy [blog] anniversary to me

It dawned on me this morning that I started my blog when bored, last year at this time, while my husband had his college roommate over for the weekend.
And here we are, Spencer will be here in a few short hours…exactly a year.
Wow. A whole year of me.  and I still have people reading.
Thanks.

more ramblings about page design…

So, I found the perfect theme, that black-background one which displayed photos so nicely….except for one problem.  The text was impossibly small.  After much searching, I figured out how to change the text to a larger font (thank you time spent learning html in the 1990s), only to find that I would need to pay [...]

I have a hypothesis that Endor is actually located in a section of St. Peters along Jungermann Road.
There’s a bend in the road where a cell phone tower portrudes up above a tree [...]

This is a timely routine-ish post.  On Independence Day (July 4 here in the States), we’re having a lot of family over for dinner and fireworks.  Normally I invest money in a lot of paper plates, paper napkins, paper/plastic cups and plastic utensils for the occassion to minimize my own personal hassle.  But this year, [...]

I think after 184 consecutive days of using my camera, I can officially claim two routines:
1. my 365 days self-portrait photo log
2. my project 365 photo log of any old thing that strikes my fancy.
Yep, I thinkg 184 days counts as routine, I mean it’s no shower and tooth-brushing, but it’s a good start.

So, what is the theme for NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month)?  It’s “routine”.  I like this month’s theme and since I’m posting nearly daily anyway, I think I’ll join in with an occassional on-theme post.
You can check out NaBloPoMo at http://www.nablopomo.com
More to come…
