As promised, here are several more photos from the balloon glow on Friday.  These pictures are SOOOOOO much better than the ones I took last year, but I still need a few years of practice to get the correct shutter speed and to find the optimal locations from which to shoot.

charity: day 4: petco foundation

Okay, so this charity is not directly for humans, but rather, for our favorite furry and scaley friends.  The Petco Foundation was begun in 1999, when Petco began its major expansion, including expansion of its assistance program.  This organization helps to find new homes for orphaned animals, especially those stranded by natural disasters, as well as assisting local community [...]
