An old building in downtown Athens, IL. The sign over the door says it was constructed in 1888. I love old structures with advertisements painted on the side. The main sign says “State Hotel Bank Store”. There are several faded advertisements painted on the structure.

I took a little trip to central Illinois (actually, north-central, Peoria) yesterday for a site reconnaissance for work.  On the way however, I had to drop Freya off at her Aunt and Uncle’s house in Athens.
